It was a freeeeezing cold day to be outside!
Jake was over and helped the guys kill and skin 3 cows to hang for a week.
Going out to find the second cow to kill...
Lil calfy was watching the whole thing... ;P
Then after a week of hanging inside... I got my first experience cutting up meat.
They used to process meat here as an ongoing business... so it was cool to see the machines and how they operated. I heard many interesting stories about what went on here, too. :)
Teaching me about the different cuts of steaks. :)
And making hamburger... :)
All-in-all... an awesome experience!
