This Time Last Year

Tyrel and I have just now passed our 1 year Anniversary.

Irony would have it that our anniversary trip was "hurricaned out" just like our honeymoon destination was changed from Florida to Tennessee because of a hurricane. 

This time we went to the Ark Encounter... ya know, to get away from all the flooding. I know lame joke. But the place itself was far from lame! ;)

We actually visited both the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I came back from there saying, "I got answers to questions, I didn't even know to ask." :)

On our last day in Ohio, we walked a 5-mile loop across two bridges between Cincinnati, OH and Kentucky! :)

This month a big bell has been going off in my head saying, "You've been here a year now! Everything is just like it was when you got back from your honeymoon... ONE YEAR AGO!" Here's what it looked like last year...

And just this week, the guys were working on a cattle pen to go with the loading ramp they built last year. 

Yesterday, I got to bring lunch to the guys... partially because I didn't want Tyrel to have to make his own chicken salad wrap, and I didn't want it to get soggy in his lunch box. But maybe more because I wanted to enjoy lunch all together like we did last year... :)
